Jessica Linn founded Meadowlarklinn Productions in 2003. The ultimate goal is to one day have a year round professional children's theatre that can not only enrich the community of Rapid City, South Dakota, but also tour the surrounding area- exposing some children to their very first play. We want to ensure that it's a good one! Also, we want to offer the experience of professional children's theatre for the many blossoming actors, playwrights, costumers, directors, set builders, dancers, singers, and musicians of the Black Hills area. Jessica Linn, Artistic Director Jessica Linn, is a Black Hills Community Theatre ten-year veteran and board member. Founder of Meadowlarklinn Productions and the Meadowlark School of Drama, she also teaches drama for Black Hills Community Theatre, the Dahl Arts Center, the Rapid City School Kidstop Program, the Rapid City School System, and the Academy of Dance Arts. She has written several children's plays, and in 2006 alone directed over ten productions. She was most recently seen in the Firehouse Brewing Company's Dinner Theater production of "Criminals in Love." Jessica spent the summer of 2007 as Artistic Director for the Storybook Island Children's Theatre. She also has a five year old and 2 year old twins.
